ITN Distribution has acquired international sales on $3m Bosnian dramatic thriller The Weight Of The Heart for AFM.

The story follows the plight of three characters: a female military psychiatrist, a war veteran with a secret and a US diplomat.

Mio Dzakula wrote the screenplay and is scheduled to commence production in Banja Luka, Bosnia, and one week in Los Angeles. Rafael Primorac is producing.

According to a press release the project is one of the first to be supported by a grant from Republika Srpska.

ITN Distribution’s slate includes the thriller Mysteria starring Danny Glover, Martin Landau and Billy Zane.
