Lionsgate and WWE Studios have set a limited theatrical run for the horror film following a sneak peek of footage at Comic-Con.

The film will open on August 22 and stars WWE star Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl (pictured), Stephanie Bennett, Andrew Dunbar, Melissa Roxburgh and Brendan Fletcher.

Leprechaun: Origins will go out across multiple platforms on August 26 and centres on two unfortunate hikers in Ireland who fall foul of a local legend.

  • Universal has confirmed two items announced at Comic-Con: Legendary Entertainment’s Untitled Michael Mann Project is now titled Blackhat and will open on January 16, 2015. Skull Island will open on November 4, 2016.
