Archive deals include popular programmes Doctor Who and Inspector Morse.

UK SVOD service LoveFilm has inked streaming deals with ITV and BBC Worldwide for archive shows including Doctor Who, Inspector Morse and Cold Feet.

Programmes under the ITV deal include Marchlands, Above Suspicion, Prime Suspect, Inspector Morse, Cold Feet and Secret Diary of a Call Girl. BBC shows will include Doctor Who, Life On Mars, Spooks, Whitechapel and Planet Earth.

Lisa Rousseau, head of UK and Ireland, sales & distribution, BBC Worldwide said: “We’ve had a content partnership with LoveFilm for several years now and it’s great to see this evolve digitally.”

Martin Goswami, director of pay and distribution, ITV, added: “Partnering with LoveFilm’s Instant service is a great example of how ITV is starting to drive new revenue streams by distributing its content across multiple platforms.”
