Cindy Bond and Chevonne O’Shaughnessy’s family and faith-based Mission Pictures International recently came on board to handle sales on a handful of titles in Cannes.

The films were Letters To God, The Way Home, To Save A Life, and The Mighty Macs.

Letters To God generated a strong response from buyers and opened in North America in April through Vivendi Entertainment and has grossed more than $2.8m to date.

Lionsgate holds US rights to The Way Home, while To Save A Life was recently released through Samuel Goldwyn Films.

Within the first year, Mission Pictures International has picked up more than 12 titles for theatrical, television and DVD releases.

“We are establishing a family and faith market internationally not just through sales of quality values-based films but by working with producers to supply our buyers with marketing materials,” Bond and O’Shaughnessy said. “We greatly value our producer relationships and look for these relationships to be long term.”
