The company will also release Richard Ayoade’s feature debut in Iceland and the Baltic states.

NonStop Entertainment picked Scandinavian, Icelandic and Baltic rights to Richard Ayoade’s Submarine in Toronto.

The deal was done with Protagonist Pictures who are handling international sales on Ayoade’s feature debut, which is based on the novel by Joe Dunthorne about a 15 year old boy living in Swansea.

The Weinstein Company has picked up US distribution for the Warp Film project, which is backed by Film 4.

The film will have its UK premiere on 22 October at the BFI London Film Festival.

“Submarine is an original, clever and funny film and it’s a perfect fit to our current line up for the Scandinavian and Baltic markets. Also, we are very happy to be working with Warp again on another great film,” said Ignas Scheynius, CEO of NonStop Entertainment.
