Nicolas Winding Refn is currently in production in Thailand on the crime thriller with his Drive star Ryan Gosling. Wild Bunch and Gaumont are producing together for the first time.

The acquisition reunites Refn with Tom Quinn, the Radius-TWC co-president alongside Jason Janego who distributed Refn’s Pusher trilogy and Bronson in his days at Magnolia Pictures.

Kristin Scott Thomas and Tom Burke round out the key cast on Only God Forgives, about a former kickboxer and gangster living in Bangkok who sets out to avenge the death of his brother at the hands of a police lieutenant. Lene Børglum also serves as producer.

Quinn and Janego brokered the deal for Radius-TWC with Carole Baraton of Wild Bunch and head of Gaumont International Cécile Gaget.

Radius-TWC recently acquired domestic rights to Luis Prieto’s English-language remake of Pusher, on which Refn serves as executive producer.
