In the ongoing fallout from the Relativity bankruptcy, Sony Pictures Classics will distribute Bryan Buckley’s Sundance hit in North America.

Melissa Rauch co-write with Winston Rauch and stars alongside Gary Cole, Thomas Middleditch, Sebastian Stan, Haley Lu Richardson and Cecily Strong.

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions (SPWA) label Stage 6 Films previously acquired worldwide rights prior to The Bronze ahead of the start of the production and SPWA will distribute internationally.

The Duplass Brothers Production centres on a foul-mouthed former gymnastics bronze medallist who must fight for her local celebrity status when a young athlete threatens to steal her thunder. 

Relativity Media came in for rights with Stage 6 back in January following the world premiere.
