The company is planning an autumn release in the US for the film, which stars Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin, Anthony Hopkins, Freida Pinto and Naomi Watts. It is produced by Letty Aronson, Steve Tenenbaum and Jaume Roures.

Sony Pictures Classics previously released Allen’s Whatever Works in 2009 and Sweet And Lowdown in 1999.

Allen said:  “I love working with Michael Barker and Tom Bernard and I know my films are in good hands with them.”
