Sales veteran Trevor Wright has joined Unified Pictures in a consultancy role and will attend Cannes with Unified founder Keith Kjarval and president of distribution and acquisitions Ann Dubinet.

Wright worked at Myriad Pictures as head of foreign sales before becoming president of North American operations at Omega Entertainment.

Unified’s slate includes thriller A Single Shot starring William H Macy, Terrence Howard, Juliette Lewis, Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola.

Production is underway in Vancouver on the story of a young girl’s death that sparks a deadly game of cat and mouse. Keith Kjarval, Unanimous Entertainment’s Chris Coen and Bron Studios’ Aaron L Gilbert are producing.

The roster includes Janie Jones, which was acquired for US theatrical release by Tribeca Films and stars Abigail Breslin, Elizabeth Shue and Alessandro Nivola and is a co-production between Unified and David Lynch’s Absurda.

Teen comedy Cherry stars Kyle Gallner, Laura Allen, Brittany Robertson, Esai Morales and Matt Walsh.
