Incoming: Mogambo is working with Protagonist Pictures on new feature project The Outrun, alongside Sarah Brocklehurst’s Brock Media, and Jack Lowden and Dominic Norris’s Arcade Pictures. Co-producers are Jonas Weydemann and Jakob D Weydemann of Weydemann Bros. Directed by Nora Fingscheidt and starring Saoirse Ronan, The Outrun is an adaptation of Amy Liptrot’s memoir. Mogambo is also developing several projects with Ikiru Films, Pokeepsie, Bowfinger International and 4 Cats Pictures.

Ignacio Salazar-Simpson says: “Co-productions help create more culturally relevant and ambitious projects with higher budgets. In Europe we should try to reduce administrative barriers and allow tax credits to be as competitive as possible.”
