The inaugural Amsterdam Film Week will open with Roman Polanski’s Carnage.

The new festival, which runs November 1-6, is to feature five titles from the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival - Black Butterflies, Journals Of Musan, Newlyweds, She Monkeys and Rid Of Me.

The line-up also features The Tree Of Life, Martha Marcy May Marlene and Circumstance.

A selection of films from the line-up will also be screened simultaneously via Video-on-Demand service UPC On Demand.

“We are excited to support the inaugural Amsterdam Film week as we celebrate our 10th year,” said Nancy Schafer, executive director, Tribeca Film Festival. “AFW complements what we are doing here at Tribeca: showing exciting new works both at the Festival and on VOD to help these films find a wider audience.”
