The Branchage Jersey Film Festival has unveiled the programme for its second edition, which takes place on the island from October 1.
The programme will also feature the UK premiere of Andrew Lancaster’s dysfunctional family drama, Accidents Happen, starring Geena Davies, as well as screenings of the Sundance winning Big River Man, and Jamie Jay Johnson’s Eurovision documentary Smells Like Teen Spirit.
Other Branchage highlights include a drive-in cinema showing Judy Garland classic, The Wizard Of Oz, and UK indie band British Sea Power performing their version of the soundtrack to the 1934 fisherman film Man Of Aran. There will also be a 3D cinema that will host the premieres of three short 3D films.
Now in its second year, the festival aims to promote Jersey, in the Channel Islands, as a potential location for international filmmakers.
