Paddy Considine’s Tyrannosaur and John Michael McDonagh’s The Guard are amongst the 25 titles screening in the Panorama programme.

Mohamed Diab’s Cairo 678 will open the Panorama section of the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival, which runs July 22-30.

The closing film in Panorama will be Susanne Bier’s Danish Oscar winner In A Better World.

Other titles screening in the Panorama programme Paddy Considine’s Tyrannosaur, John Michael McDonagh’s Irish black comedy The Guard and Cannes competition titles The Kid With A Bike by the Dardenne brothers and Von Trier’s Melancholia.

Latin American films in the section include Nicolas Pereda’s Mexican film Summer Of Goliath and Pablo Giorgelli’s Las Acacias which screened in Cannes Critics Week.

The line-up also includes one local film, the Serbian White White World by Oleg Novkovic.

Panorama programmer Howard Feinstein said the selection was “comprised in oart of the greatest hits from all over the world from the past year.”
