Oliver Hirschbiegel has started shooting his new feature, Five Minutes Of Heaven, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Liam Neeson and James Nesbitt star as two men who are struggling to come to terms with their experiences of past conflict in Northern Ireland.

Eoin O'Callaghan is producing for Big Fish Films and executive producer is Paul Trijbits at Ruby Films.

Backers include Pathe (which is handling international sales), BBC Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen, the Irish Film Board and Element Pictures (which will distribute in Ireland.)

Hirschbiegel's past films include Das Experiment and the Oscar-nominated Downfall.
