Mumbai and London-based iDream Independent Pictures has boarded Boy With Grenade, the latest project from Indian filmmaker Santosh Sivan whose Before The Rains screened at Toronto this year.

iDream will fully finance and handle international sales on Boy With Grenade which was one of the selected projects at this year's Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP) in South Korea.

Set in Kashmir, the film tells the story of a young boy who is tempted by a dangerous mission when his family starts to have financial difficulties. Production is scheduled to start in Kashmir later this month.

iDream is also producing romantic comedy Straight, about an Indian man living in London who is confused about his sexual orientation. Currently in production, the film is directed by Parvati Balagobalan and stars Vinay Pathak, who recently appeared in sleeper hit Bheja Fry.

The company's burgeoning production slate also includes Hindi-language horror title Devi, to be directed by Saurab Narang from next February.

On the international sales side, iDream handles Hindi films with global appeal for non-Indian markets, along with 'India-centric' English-language films. The company recently picked up Vanaja, directed by Rajnesh Domalpalli, which won the best first feature award at Berlin this year.
