Korean producer/distributor M&FC has bought the John Woo and Terence Chang produced Blood Brothers for Korea.

B.K. Cha, head of M&FC's film division, signed with CMC Entertainment production marketing manager Joseph Liao.

Fortissimo Films hold worldwide rights for Blood Brothers outside of Asia.

M&FC, originally a music rights company - whose president Sungwoo Cho is also a film score composer, started producing Mudang - Reconciliation Between the Living and the Dead in 2001.

The company has recently taken back international sales rights to Duelist director Lee Myung-se's M to which it is a major financier. The film was repped by Core Studio up until the Asian Film Market.

M&FC is set to present Hur Jin-ho's Happiness in March with Showbox which handles international sales. It recently presented the Japanese blockbuster Japan Is Sinking in Korea.
