IndieWIRE founder Eugene Hernandez is leaving the site to become director of digital strategy at the Film Society Of Lincoln Center.

Hernandez will leave his current role as editor-in-chief at the film website on October 29 and will assist in the transition and continue as a contributor.

SnagFilms acquired IndieWIRE in 2008.
