AGC International has named Diane Ferrandez and Nat McCormick to the newly-created roles of co-heads of worldwide sales and distribution, effective immediately.
Los Angeles-based McCormick and London-based Ferrandez will share management and film sales and distribution duties, while Ferrandez will also lead AGC’s television sales operations.
McCormick previously worked with AGC Studios chairman and CEO Stuart Ford at Ford and AGC co-founder Miguel Palos’ IM Global and began his career overseeing independent sales titles such as Insidious, Sinister, Bullet To The Head, and The Butler.
After that, the executive served as president of worldwide sales and distribution at The Exchange and most recently helped launch the independent film company Stoic, where he served as president, worldwide sales.
Ferrandez joined AGC Studios in 2022 as SVP of film sales and distribution and has handled titles such as Richard Linklater’s Hit Man, Anna Kendrick’s Woman Of The Hour, Justin Kurzel’s The Order, Ron Howard’s Eden, and the recently-wrapped Babies from Lauren Miller Rogen.
In 2024, she expanded her mandate to include television sales and co-productions including key partnerships on series such as Vanished starring Kaley Cuoco, Embassy with Anna Kendrick, Sam Heughan and JK Simmons, and the Beatles biopic Hamburg Days.
Ferrandez came to AGC from Rocket Science where she oversaw sales, financing and slate development.
Ford said he was “delighted” to welcome back McCormick “and for him to bring his senior management skills, dealmaking prowess and global relationships to AGC International”. He said Ferrandez was “a huge asset to our sales and distribution business, particularly since she took the lead in shaping and executing our scripted TV distribution strategy”.
Rounding out the sales team are recent hires Jack Pallone and Priya Malhi, who joined as sales coordinators based in Los Angeles and London respectively. Pallone was most recently at WME Independent and Malhi joined AGC following roles at Banijay Rights and XYZ Films.
