Internet and mobile video platform Babelgum has partnered with the Canadian Film Centre’s Worldwide Short Film Festival (WSFF), which runs June 1-6 in Toronto, to create three online video channels of festival shorts.

The Shortsnonstop channel presents a line-up of the festival’s recent finalists. The Roving Curator channel showcases 10 different titles from the WSFF archives four times a year. And the Festival Picks channel plays 15 short films from this year’s WSFF. The channels are currently available at the Babelgum web site.

“Short film lovers everywhere can now enjoy WSFF films anywhere in the world without compromising their viewing experience,” said Eileen Arandiga, director, CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival. “Babelgum is revolutionary in its video platforms and we are thrilled to provide WSFF patrons with more high-quality short films outside of the theatre.”

The WSFF is presenting 281 films from 34 countries. Winners are eligible for both Oscar and Genie Award consideration.
