Pieces Of A Woman director Kornel Mundruczo is set to direct Blake Lively in the sci-fi Proxy, which FilmNation is introducing to buyers at the European FIlm Market this month.
Hyde Park, Endeavor Content and Aaron Ryder, who was among the producers on FilmNation’s Denis Villeneuve sci-fi Arrival, are producing the thriller which takes place in the near future. Further plot details were unavailable at time of writing.
Lively’s recent credits include shark thriller The Shallows, action thriller The Rhythm Section and drama All I See Is You.
Hungarian filmmaker Mundruczo has become a hot property in Hollywood after his English-language debut Pieces Of A Woman became an awards season contender and earned Vanessa Kirby a lead actress Oscar nomination last year for her portrayal of a woman in mourning.
