UK actors David Jonsson and Joshua Maynard will play Chris Eubank, and Nigel Benn respectively in David Harewood’s directorial debut Benn/Eubank for Fulwell 73.
Nathalie Emmanuel will play Sharon Benn, with O-T Fagbenle cast as Ambrose Mendy. Harewood will play Adonis, Eubank’s boxing mentor.
Daniel Harris, Kieron Hawkes and Belinda Joanne Ampah wrote the script. Producers are Fulwell 73’s Leo Pearlman and Heather Greenwood.
The film tells the story of Benn and Eubank’s classic fight in 1990.
AMP is handling international distribution and is launching sales in Cannes.
