‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’, ‘Darkest Hour’, ‘Lady Bird’

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri won four Golden Globes, including best drama, and top prizes for Frances McDormand in the best actress category, best screenplay for Martin McDonagh, best supporting actor for Sam Rockwell. 

Guillermo del Toro took home the award for best director for The Shape Of Water. Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird won two awards, best comedy film and best actress for Saoirse Ronan. Gary Oldman won best actor - drama for Darkest Hour.

On the TV side, HBO’s Big Little Lies ended Sunday night with four wins, including best limited series, best supporting actress for Laura Dern, Alexander Skarsgard, and Nicole Kidman.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won for best comedy series and for best actress for Rachel Brosnahan, while The Handmaid’s Tale took the Golden Globe for best drama TV series.
