Dual site festival, which runs Sept 14-23, also features European premiere of Goddess and three UK premieres.

Peter Templeman’s Not Suitable For Children [pictured], starring True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten, will receive its European premiere as the opening film of FilmFest Australia (FFA), which runs Sept 14-16 at Clapham Picturehouse and Sept 21-23 at Hackney Picturehouse in London.

Templeman’s debut feature is one of two European premieres at the festival, alongside Mark Lamprell’s musical Goddess - which played in the market at Cannes.

Fred Schepisi’s adaptation of Patrick White’s novel The Eye Of The Storm, Rob Sitch’s comedy Any Questions For Ben? and Craig Lahiff’s crime thriller Swerve will also receive their UK premieres as part of the festival.

This year’s festival patrons are Geoffrey Rush and Noah Taylor. Taylor starred in last year’s FFA opener Red Dog, while Rush stars in The Eye Of The Storm alongside Charlotte Rampling.

Flickerfest, Australia’s leading short film festival, returns to this year’s FFA and will present a series of Australian shorts before each screening at the festival.
