EXCLUSIVE: UK outfit closes deal on David Gordon Green’s Sundance and Berlin title.

UK outfit Metrodome has closed rights to David Gordon Green’s Sundance and Berlin entry Prince Avalanche.

Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch star in the remake of 2011 Icelandic film Either Way, in which two polar opposites nurture an unlikely friendship while repainting traffic lines on a damaged country road during the summer of 1988.

Pineapple Express director Green picked up Berlin’s Silver Bear for Best Director for the feature.

The deal was negotiated by Brigitte Suarez from The Match Factory and Metrodome’s head of acquisitions Giles Edwards.

Metrodome’s upcoming slate includes Summer in February with Dan Stevens, Noah Baumbach’s Frances Ha and Shane Carruth’s Upstream Color.
