Swedish production outfit Brain Academy has signed an output deal with Nordisk Film.
Brain Academy’s producer Helena Danielsson and director Mikael Håfström will now work exclusively with Nordisk Film.
The deal kicks off with Håfström’s thriller The Perfect Patient, about a journalist investigating a serial killer, which is now in post and being sold here by TrustNordisk.
Nordisk is co-producing and will distribute in Scandinavia.
Panel series will address film/tv production, location strategies.
Film set to receive market premiere in Cannes.
Oliver Stone’s ‘Lula’ will play as a special screening.
Nominations for theatrical features announced January 10, 2025.
Drive-in theatres are no longer means of qualification.
