Jake Carter and Billy Offer

Jake Carter and Billy Offer have joined Range Media Partners’ film finance and sales division Range Select as partners and co-heads.

Both executives most recently served at UTA Independent Film Group.

Carter spent the past five years in Los Angeles and New York working on independent and co-financed features and television where his credits include Na Hong Jin’s recent Cannes world premiere Hope, Oliver Hermanus’ History Of Sound, and Todd Haynes’s May December.

Prior to that he worked at 30West overseeing production on the company’s slate and Black Bear Pictures. He started his entertainment career at Sloss Eckhouse Dasti Haynes LawCo.

Offer started in the UTA mailroom and spent the last decade at UTA’s Independent Film Group, where he supported films including Osgood Perkins’ Longlegs, Daniel Roher’s Tuner, and Alex Ullom’s upcoming 4X4.
