
The Match Factory has closed multiple distribution deals for its Berlinale competition titles Queen At Sea by Lance Hammer and Rose by Markus Schleinzer.
Queen At Sea won two Silver Bears at Berlin: the jury prize and the best supporting performance award for Tom Courtenay and Anna Calder-Marshall. Juliette Binoche also stars.
The Match Factory has struck distribution deals for the film in several territories including UK & Ireland (Curzon), Poland (Aurora), Benelux (Imagine Film), South Korea (Challan), Switzerland (Frenetic Films), Greece (Cinobo), Portugal (FILMS4YOU), former Yugoslavia (Investacommerce AG), the Baltics (Scanorama), Taiwan (Andrews Film) and Latin America (Cine Canibal).
The feature is a production from The Bureau and is produced by Tristan Goligher and Lance Hammer.

Markus Schleinzer’s Rose won the Silver Bear for best leading performance for Sandra Hüller. It also topped Screen’s jury grid for Berlinale competition films.
The Match Factory has closed distribution deals for Rose across a range of territories, including France (KMBO), Spain (Avalon), Benelux (Paradiso), Poland (Gutek), South Korea (Pancinema), Denmark (Ost For Paradis), Sweden & Iceland (Edge), Norway (Fidalgo), Finland (Future Film Oy), Hungary (Cirko Film), Portugal (No Comboio), Greece (Weirdwave), Czech Republic & Slovakia (Zero Gravity), Bulgaria (Beta Film), former Yugoslavia (MCF Megacom), Middle East & North Africa (Gulf Film), Israel (Lev Cinemas) and the Baltics (Scanorama).
Additionally, the film will be distributed in Germany (Piffl), Austria (Filmladen), and Switzerland (Filmcoopi).
Rose is an Austrian-German production from Schubert, Row Pictures and Walker + Worm Film, produced by Johannes Schubert, Philipp Worm, Tobias Walker and Karsten Stöter.
Negotiations for additional territories for both films are ongoing.
