The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS) has announced an expanded line-up of features and partnerships for 2026 in celebration of its 10th anniversary.

MPTS 2026 will debut new features including a Content Creator Stage, a live podcast studio and an extra networking bar. The show will also host the Post Production World Conference Europe (PPW Europe), in partnership with Future Media Conferences (FMC).

For the second consecutive year, MPTS will span both levels of Olympia’s Grand Hall, with the upstairs area further expanded to host a dedicated content creator networking zone, a new bar, and additional spaces designed for informal meetings, collaboration, and “work from anywhere” opportunities.

The newly launched Content Creator Stage reflects the rapid growth of the creator economy, spotlighting short-form video, influencer marketing, platform innovation, and creator-brand collaborations. Attendees will be able to participate in live panels, fireside chats, and practical sessions covering monetisation, creative strategy, and success stories, alongside a dedicated networking space designed to connect creators, brands, and platforms.

For the first time, MPTS will host a live podcast studio, in partnership with AKA Design & Proactive UK, offering attendees the chance to hear directly from leading voices in media and entertainment. This new feature will showcase the latest trends in on-demand audio and provide opportunities to see podcasting in action with live broadcasts.

MPTS will also welcome Post Production World Conference Europe to London for the first time. Produced by FMC, the internationally renowned training event will run alongside MPTS across two full days, offering dozens of hands-on sessions led by expert trainers and certified instructors.

Alongside these new features, MPTS will also expand its established partnerships, ensuring the event continues to attract the most influential voices. The SMPTE Media Technology Conference is moving to an expanded ground-floor space in 2026, bringing together even more senior technical leaders, innovators and decision-makers to explore groundbreaking trends, transformative innovations and the future of global media technology.

MPTS Keynote Theatre

MPTS 2026 will feature seven other dedicated theatres covering every corner of the creative and broadcast industries, alongside more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest tools, technologies and services.

The organisers of the show are also working with the team at EventWell to provide a SensoryCalm safe space that anyone can visit when attending the event from 2026.

This is aimed at helping those who need assistance in managing any sensory overload, triggers or stimulation, or just want to take a 10 minute wellbeing break. This service will be available on the gallery level of the Grand Hall.

This year MPTS welcomed a record 13,000 attendees from 50 countries with 100+ free-to-attend sessions across eight theatres, showcasing the insight and passion of more than 350 expert speakers and guest keynotes. The show floor was packed with more than 300 exhibitors and sponsors, and next year’s event is set to continue the show’s upward trend.

MPTS is part of GlobalData’s Media Business Insight, which also owns Screen International and Broadcast.

Charlotte Wheeler, director of MPTS, said: “Each year we strive to evolve MPTS to reflect the needs of our audience, and for our tenth year will see some of our most exciting developments yet. From the launch of the Content Creator Stage and live podcast studio, to the addition of a new upstairs bar and networking spaces, we are creating an environment designed to inspire creativity, collaboration and connection. Partnering with FMC to bring Post Production World Conference Europe to London for the first time further cements MPTS as the destination for anyone working across media production, post, and technology in Europe.”
