Loop Talent, the UK agency that represents UK heads of department and crew, has expanded its remit to include a locations division.

The new department will be overseen by agent Matt Clinch, who currently represents the agency’s line producers and first assistant directors.

Initial talent to sign into the division includes Chloe Misson and Jake Day. Mission’s credits include Element Pictures’ Séance On A Wet Afternoon, Marching Powder, Hoard Scrapper and Studiocanal’s upcoming Toronto premiere Everybody Wants To F**k Me,  while Day has worked on Babak Anvari’s I Came By and Channel 5 TV drama series The Teacher.

“Location managers are often the first heads of department to join a production and can have a huge impact on everything that follows. Adding locations to the roster has been on our radar for some time and we’re excited to finally bring the department into Loop,” said Lucy Price, who founded Loop Talent in 2020.

Clinch added: “I am thrilled to be leading Loop Talent’s locations roster given how integral they are to every department on a production, with their logistical skills, budget management, and critical communication skills key to the success of any shoot.”
