Kill Code

EXCLUSIVE: Voltage Pictures has closed multiple territory sales on the cyberpunk sci-fi action thriller Kill Code starring Franzi Schissler, Harvey Keitel, Tyrese Gibson, and Frank Grillo, and will continue negotiations at the EFM in Berlin next month.

Justin Price directed and Latavius Powell of Powell & Price Productions produced the story, set in a near-future surveillance state, where a cyber operative (Schissler) ignites a rebellion after she uncovers the truth behind a privatised lethal wristwatch technology that administers criminal sentences.

Voltage holds worldwide sales rights and has closed deals in Germany, Eastern Europe and CIS (Daro), UK (Volga), Australia (Eagle), Greece (Spentzos), Portugal (NOS Lusomundo), South Korea (Scene & Sound), Middle East and Turkey (Front Row), India (Dimension), and Airlines (Pictureworks), with additional territories expected to close during the market.

“Latavius Powell believed in this project at a very early stage and gave us the freedom to fully realise the vision of Kill Code,” Price said. “And Franzi Schissler is the heartbeat of the film — this is a breakout performance that positions her as a powerful new presence in action cinema.”

Kill Code has immediately connected with international buyers,” Alexandra Cocean, president of worldwide sales, said. “The film delivers a distinctive cyberpunk world, a compelling female-led action performance, and a strong commercial cast — all elements that continue to perform exceptionally well across the international marketplace.”
