EXCLUSIVE: Shaked Bereson’s Los Angeles-based Studio Dome has signed a deal to handle international sales on the library of genre specialist Full Moon Features and will begin sales in Berlin next month on a catalogue that includes the Puppet Master franchise.
The slate of feature from producer and Full Moon founder Charles Band includes the Subspecies and Witchouse franchises, and titles like Gingerdead Man and Demonic Toys.
The agreement is the latest piece in Studio Dome’s ongoing international expansion strategy that saw the company acquire Glass House Distribution last year and become a strategic investor in Incantor AI as it builds a distribution network encompassing theatrical, television, SVoD, AVoD, FAST, and emerging platform opportunities.
“Full Moon Features has built one of the most enduring and recognisable genre libraries in the world,” Studio Dome CEO Berenson said. “Charles Band is a true pioneer of independent filmmaking, and we’re excited to bring this iconic catalogue to international buyers in a focused, strategic way. Our goal is to maximise global exposure and long-term value for the Full Moon library across all territories.”
Studio Dome COO Tom Malloy added that Full Moon’s titles carried a proven global audience and that there was “significant untapped international demand”.
Band said, “Full Moon has always been about reaching fans everywhere, and the international marketplace is more important than ever. Studio Dome understands both the legacy of our films and the modern global sales landscape. I’m confident they’re the right partner to take our library to the next level internationally.”
As part of the agreement, a group of select Full Moon titles will also be made available on Studio Dome’s horror and genre streamer BloodStreamTV.
