The Pinewood Studios Group has launched an official website for the rebuilt 007 Stage, located at www.007stage.com.

Europe 's largest sound stage has been rebuilt and reopened following the July 2006 fire that made the stage unusable.

Currently, the internal area of 59,000-square-feet makes it the biggest stage in Europe. The tank at the stage is capable of holding 5.25m litres and the stage has a capacity of 2,000 people. New features at the facility include a vehicle access ramp, aircraft hangar style loading doors and improved soundproofing.

Nick Smith, the sales and marketing director for the Pinewood Studios Group, said: 'This official website gives both professionals and the public alike a chance to discover for themselves the rebuilt stage and its new features.'

The 007 Stage at Pinewood was originally built in 1976 for James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. It has since hosted other shoots for Lara Croft Tomb Raider, The Da Vinci Code, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and Casino Royale.
