The news follows hot on the heels of the recent premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival of Blanc Biehn’s thriller The Victim.

Patrick Valladares’ original film Hidden In The Woods (En Las Afueras De La Ciudad) will premiere at the festival on Aug 6. Valladares will direct the English-language remake.

Michel Biehn will star in the remake, based on a screenplay by the original writers and creators of the Spanish version.

Jennifer Blanc Biehn and Michael Biehn will produce and the shoot is scheduled to begin at the end of 2012 on location in Chile.

Jennifer Blanc Biehn and Jennifer Gray at The Law Offices of Elsa Ramo brokered the deal.
