The 80’s set feature adaptation is being directed by Sacha Bennett.

Bob Hoskins and Jenny Agutter have signed on to star in Sacha Bennett’s feature adaptation Weighed In: The Story Of The Mumper, which starts shooting in London on December 13.

Based on the novel, The Mumper, by Mark Baxter and Paolo Hewitt, it tells the story of a group of friends during the Fleet Street print workers strikes in the 1980s.

Emily Atack, Calum McNab, Adam Deacon, Vincent Regan, Terry Stone and Perry Benson will also star in the film, which is being produced by Gateway Films in association with Talent Films and Bob & Co.

Shooting will take place in and around South West London and Surrey.
