Isabelle Huppert will play the lead in Joachim Trier’s Louder Than Bombs and British comedian Harry Hill will star in his own feature film.

Shooting on The Harry Hill Movie will commence this Sunday (May 12), in which Harry and his petrol drinking Nan (played by Julie Waters) discover their hamster is seriously ill and set off on a road trip to Blackpool pursued by a lunatic vet.

Simon Bird stars as the vet and Sheridan Smith, Matt Lucas, Jim Broadbent and Julian Barratt will also appear.

Steve Bendelack will direct from a script by Hill, Jon Foster and James Lamont.

Robert Jones is producing and Entertainment Film Distributors is financing and will release in the UK and Ireland at the end of this year.

Isabelle Huppert, Gabriel Byrne and Jesse Eisenberg will star in Joachim Trier’s Louder Than Bombs, which revolves around the character of a famous, late war photographer (Huppert).

On the eve of a retrospective of her work, some three years after her untimely death, her husband and two sons discover an unsettling secret from her past.

The drama is jointly produced by Norway’s Motlys AS, Denmark’s Nimbus Film, France’s Memento Films, Germany’s Ma.Ja.De Filmproduktion as well as the UK’s Bonafide Films. The Danish Film Institute, the Nordic Film & Television Fund and the Norwegian Film Institute provided financial backing.

Shooting is scheduled for this autumn and Memento Films International has acquired worldwide rights and will also release in France. Norsk Filmdistribusjon will distribute in Norway, Tri-Art Film in Sweden and Nordisk Film in Denmark.
