It will be the first feature to come out of Tim Dennison’s new London-based production company Tall Man Films.

Producer Tim Dennison is developing supernatural thriller The Called through his new UK company Tall Man Films.

UK film-maker Niall Johnson will direct and has written the screenplay, about two men whose experience with a demonized angel in their youth comes back to haunt them. Johnson previously wrote another supernatural thriller White Noise. His directing credits include the 2005 comedy Keeping Mum with Patrick Swayze and Kristen Scott Thomas.

Dennison, who produced Mutant Chronicles with Ed Pressman in 2008 before going out on his own earlier this year, is currently in talks with financiers, with a view to shooting the film in London and a coastal location in spring 2012.
