Kieran Parker will direct the third in the Nazi zombie franchise, Outpost: The Rise Of The Spetsnaz

Shooting is underway on the third film in the Outpost franchise in Glasgow and Yorkshire.

Kieran Parker, who produced the first two films – Outpost and Outpost: Black Sun – is directing from a script by Rae Brunton. The film centres around a band of zombie Nazi soldiers who become locked in a gladiatorial battle with the Russian Spetsnaz.

The cast includes Bryan Larkin as the lead, and professional mixed martial James “The Colossus” Thompson.

Parker is also producing, along with Arabella Page Croft for Glasgow-based production company Black Camel Pictures. Nigel Thomas from Matador Pictures and Jamie Carmichael from Content are executive producing.

The film is backed by Matador Pictures, Creative Scotland, Creative Film Finances and South West Scotland Screen Commission.
