The Wolverine ventures into a handful of Southeast Asian markets. Fox International’s The Heat on $29.3m opens in the UK while The Internship has grossed $30.6m and opens in Italy.

DreamWorks Animation’s Turbo continues to roll out at a steady pace and has taken $42m by this early stage. New releases in Taiwan and Singapore should push the film past the $50m mark by Sunday. Mobius opens in Germany and Epic stands at $140.6m.

Pacific Rim is gathering pace internationally and will return an impressive number fro China, where it set an opening day record for Warner Bros on Wednesday with approximately $9m. The sci-fi has grossed $155.2m and also debuts in Scandinavia, South Africa and Israel.

Recent number one North American release The Conjuring arrives in the UK, Germany and Taiwan among a handful of others and stands at an early $16.5m.

Man Of Steel has amassed $358.3m, The Hangover Part 3 $243.5m and The Great Gatsby $190m.

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International’s Monsters University has reached $338.4m. The Lone Ranger stands at a lowly $81.8m and studio brass will look to respectable holdover business and a solid debut in Japan to send it on its way towards $100m.

Now You See Me has crossed $100m through Lionsgate International licensees and stands at more than $101.3m from 54 markets. The mystery has grossed $21m in CIS, $13.6m in the UK and $5.1m in Spain and opens this weekend in France, Mexico and Belgium.

World War Z opens through Paramount Pictures International in Spain this weekend and has amassed more than $281m.
