Sony Pictures were rewarded for their outdoor Terminator Salvation campaign, whilst Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince was named retail title of the year

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment won the creative initiative of the year award for its Termination Salvation outdoor promotion campaign at the 30th British Video Association awards which took place in London last night (22nd April).

Star Trek XI  was named best blu-ray title of the year, whilst Warner Home Video’s Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was named retail title of the year.

Meanwhile BVA’s own director general Lavinia Carey was named industry individual of the year in recognition of her 17 years in the role.

Anthony Peet, chairman of the BVA said “Lavinia Carey has championed us and our industry needs. It is more than fitting, that tonight, on this 30th anniversary of the British Video Association, we acknowledge the work she has achieved”.
