The Foundation’s social justice fund JustFilms has awarded grants totalling $20m to films and film-makers over the last two years.
The eight Sundance films that have received “major financial support” from JustFilms are:
American Promise [pictured], Citizen Koch, Gideon’s Army, God Loves Uganda, Mother Of George, Valentine Road, Who is Dayani Cristal? and short film Outlawed In Pakistan.
The festival will honour its founder during its last run in Park City.

Redford starred in films including ‘Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid’ and ‘All The President’s Men’.
