THINKFilm has taken US rights at AFM to Stuart Gordon's drama Stuck starring Mena Suvari and Stephen Rea.

The distributor is planning a spring 2008 release in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco among other top markets.

Image Entertainment, an equity partner on the film, will release on DVD. Rigel Entertainment is handling international sales.

Suvari plays a hit-and-run driver who flees the scene with her victim stuck in her windscreen. While the driver parks the car in her garage and hopes her victim will slowly bleed to death, he has other ideas.

Ken Gord, Jay Firestone and Robert Katz produced for Amicus Entertainment, Prodigy Pictures and Image Entertainment.

'This is a crowd pleasing, edge-of-your-seat film coming off of critical acclaim through exposure at several world class film festivals,' Image's president and chief executive officer Martin W Greenwald said.
