Shooting is to begin on Oct 1 on Le Silence De Lorna, the latest feature from Palme D'Or winners Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.

The new film stars Arta Dobroshi as a young woman from Albania who wants to emigrate to France even if that would mean that she has to marry a total stranger to obtain permanent residence.

Also appearing are Jeremie Renier and Fabrizio Rongione. It is expected that the film will be ready next spring. It will therefore be prime candidate for a berth in the Cannes competition.

The new film, a French-Belgian co-production, has backing from (among others) Eurimages, Centre du Cinema et de l'Audiovisuel (CCAV), the CNC in France, and ARTE France Cinema.

It is being made through the brothers' production company Les Films Du Flueve together with Paris-based Archipel 35.

Celluloid Dreams will be handling world sales. No pre-sales have been confirmed as yet.
