Screen International is partnering with Cannes Eco, a TV show being filmed during this year’s Cannes Film Festival, to make available to subscribers online live streaming for a series of interviews, roundtables and media content.

The series of debates and roundtables will be hosted from the Majestic Hotel with a remit to illustrate how films selected for the festival were financed. Subscribers to the content will be able to ask their own questions of the interview subjects prior to broadcast of edited highlights on Bloomberg TV.

The panels start Sunday at 10am Cannes time with Financing Independent Films - An Overview and continues with The Role Of International Sales within film finance.

Screen editor Mike Goodridge is moderating the sales panel at 1pm today with guests including veterans in the field Guy East, Hengameh Panahi and Stuart Ford.

Other highlights include a look at the financing of competition entry Lawless, and panels on banking, film commissions and creative financing.

The offer for Screen subscribers is €99 for a virtual seat on set which would normally be priced at €299.
