Short Term 12, The Short Game win SXSW audience awards
Destin Daniel Cretton’s winner of the narrative feature competition grand jury prize has added the audience award to the trophy cabinet.
In other festival-goers’ favourites announced at Austin, Texas, on Sunday evening [17], The Short Game claimed the documentary feature prize.
A Band Called Death prevailed in the 24 Beats Per Second strand while Maidentrip won the Visions section and Zero Charisma took Narrative Spotlight.
Cheap Thrills triumphed in the Midnighters category.
