Festival co-founder Robert DeNiro, Meryl Streep and Judd Apatow to take part in a tribute discussion marking the centenary of Universal Pictures.

Susan Sarandon, Rob Lowe, Jim Sheridan and Christian Slater will take part in other panels covering directing, screenwriting and the industry.

Tribeca organisers unveiled six new world premiere screenings: Charles Matthau’s Elmore Leonard adaptation Freaky Deaky starring Christian Slater and Jenny Deller’s drama Future Weather and the documentaries Portrait Of Wally and Once In A Lullaby: The PS22 Chorus Story will screen as part of the Tribeca Talks: After the Movie series.

Documentary Wagner’s Dream will premiere as part of the new Beyond The Screens: Globalize Your Thinking series and Bill Guttentag’s political satire Knife Fight will get a special screening with an extended Q&A.

Tribeca is set to run Apr 18-29.
