Cast and crew from the musical to attend festival for a screening and debate evening.
Set to be released later this year, Big Society The Musical is teaming up with Landon Theatre’s From Page to Stage festival.
On Feb 13, cast and crew fom the musical will discuss the collaborative and creative process of production, with sections of key musical numbers exclusively screened to illustrate the musical’s place as a cultural response to the economic climate.
Producer Jennifer Monks will also discuss using film as a vehicle for social change and how their innovative distribution strategy proposes to “reinvent cinema within our communities”.
The gritty musical follows Linda who, facing the pending closure of her Youth Centre, decides to risk her reputation to helm Connor, a young offender who has no one apart from her to help him.
