FC Films has acquired US rights to Tennyson Bardwell’s supernatural thriller The Skeptic and will release through its IFC In Theaters VOD platform on April 29.

The Skeptic will get an exclusive week-long theatrical engagements in Los Angeles, New York and Albany in May.

Tim Daly stars as a man who inherits a haunted house. Tom Arnold and Zoe Saldana also star and Mary-Beth Taylor, Isen Robbins and Aimee Schoof produced.

IFC’s Arianna Bocco brokered the deal with Lawrence Silverstein and Alex Barder of Strategic.  

Among the roster of upcoming genre releases through the IFC Midnight label are Pontypool, Fear Me Not, The Chaser, Dead Snow, and Frontier Of Dawn
