Accordingto Senator Entertainment's Marco Weber, Mueller was 'from the outset ourabsolute ideal candidate for the post of the Managing Director Production; hehas an outstanding feeling for successful film ideas and, without a doubt, delivered proof with Sophie Scholl thathe also knows how to realise them successfully.'

Inhis new function Mueller will continue to work with Goldkindand Burgemeister since they were already slated tohandle Tobi Baumann's adaptation of the Tommy Jaud bestseller Vollidiot on behalf of Senator this August. Othercollaborations between Goldkind and Senator areplanned for the future.

Agraduate of Munich's Academy forTelevision & Film, Mueller had initially worked after film school as alocation and production manager for various productions before becoming aproducer at FFP in 1996. He followed this with a stint at MTM Medien & Television Munchen andthen between 1997 and 2000, Christoph worked atHelmut Dietl's Diana Film.

In2001, he set up his own production outfit, GoldkindFilm, with partners Hofmann & VogesEntertainment. A year later, he brought TV60Film on board Goldkindas a new partner, with Sven Burgemeister as a jointmanaging director to produce Gregor Schnitzler's Soloalbum, Florian Gaag's feature debut Wholetrain and Rothemund's Silver Bear winner Sophie Scholl.

Goldkind Film's production philosophy, according toMueller, was 'to be varied in what it makes. We are open to everythingwhich means that, after a film like SophieScholl, we could then work on a fast, cheeky young comedy. Like everyoneelse, we are hunting for quality, for that project which is unique. But acompany like Working Title which can make both Billy Elliot and Mr Beanis something we aspire to.'
