Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, producers of Universal’s upcoming May release Neighbors, will receive the CinemaCon Comedy Filmmakers Of The Year Award.
The Point Grey Pictures partners will collect the award at the Las Vegas convention on March 27. CinemaCon runs from March 24-27.
Rogen and Goldberg co-directed, co-wrote and produced the 2013 hit comedy This Is The End and their writing credits include Superbad and Pineapple Express. Sony will release their newest film The Interview in October.
“As writers, producers and directors, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have teamed up to bring audiences around the world some of the most outrageously, insanely funny comedies in recent years,” said CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser.
