Eddie Cunningham has been named president of Universal Pictures worldwide home entertainment.

Cunningham has served for eight years as president of Universal Pictures International Entertainment and will relocate from London to Los Angeles as he expands his portfolio to include the company’s North American home entertainment operations.

Universal said it would continue to “maintain a strong presence” in its London office. 

Cunningham will continue to report to Universal Pictures president and chief distribution officer Peter Levinsohn.
